the process
I. Planning
You've thought about this moment a lot I'm sure so you probably have a vision in mind and I am going to help execute it. We will begin by hopping on a call to discuss details and to get to know each other better. I am happy to offer location recommendations and research the space for you. We can even go to the location ahead of time and scout spots together!
As far as any extra goodies, I will assist in researching costs and will set up the proposal site so everything is perfect upon your arrival. Want some champagne? Rose petals? A sign? Twinkle lights? That can be arranged!
II. Proposing
The day is here and it's going to be spectacular. My goal is to ease your stress by lending a helping hand however I can. I want to ensure your proposal is everything you and your partner dreamed of. By proposal day, we will be over-prepared so all you have to think about is getting on one knee - I'll take care of the rest. I will arrive 30-60 minutes early to iron out any possible wrinkles, set up the space, and get into position. I will send you a pin of where I am and ask you what y'all are wearing so I can spot you easier. Whenever you're ready to propose, I'll be ready with my camera.
My role is to be present, but not present. I will document your proposal from afar and slowly approach. I will not impede on your intimate moment by any means. I also understand the shock your fiancé may feel at the time - being surprised with a marriage proposal and then having a stranger with a camera suddenly appear. I will introduce myself and then pull back to allow y'all to soak up the moment, absorb what just happened, and then we will begin taking engagement portraits including some glorious ring shots. It is perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed, but all you need to do is focus on your fiancé, revel in the moment, and interact naturally with one another! Think of me as a professional third wheel.
III. Post-processing
After your post-proposal portraits, I will get out of your hair and let y'all continue your celebration with each other. In two weeks or less, I will send you preliminary edits via a private online gallery where you can view your images and select your favorites. Once your favorites list is finalized, I will make final touchups on your selections, such as fly away hairs, blemishes, and making sure the beautiful ring looks crisp and polished. You can expect your final gallery of memories within a week and you'll be able to download, share, order prints, and more!
This does not mean it is the end of the road for us! I am here should you need any advice or recommendations for your wedding or elopement. FAQ
How does this work? If I want something to make it extra special, can you help me set it up?
We will start the planning process by discussing your vision and putting together the basics. I recommend we hop on a call so we can discuss locations, time of day, what to expect in the moment, where I will be hiding, and answer any questions you may have!
How will I receive my photos and what is the turnaround time?
Final images will be delivered to you via a private online gallery where you can download, order prints, create favorites lists, and more! The turnaround time to receive preliminary edits and choose your favorites is two weeks or less. After your favorites have been chosen, I will complete any final touchups and send your final gallery within a week.
Do you collect a deposit?
I do require a 50% deposit at the time of booking for all proposals. The retainer secures the date and time of your session. I will not book any other sessions at your scheduled time and for this reason, the deposit is non-refundable. Your deposit can be applied to another date and time if you reschedule within 24 hours of our scheduled session. With less than 24 hours notice, a new deposit for the same amount will need to be paid to hold a new session date and time. If you have paid more than the deposit, I will pay you back that portion.
What the heck should I wear? Do you charge for additional outfit changes?
Rule number one is wear something you feel confident and comfortable in. We want you feeling good in your skin AND your clothing!
Layers also photograph very well. Simply adding a jacket, blazer, or sweater to an outfit will add variety and complete your look.
Neutrals and subtle patterns are a safe bet. I recommend steering away from hectic patterns and bold colors; however, if that is your style, you will rock it!
Assess your partner's outfit and wear something that compliments it, but steer away from anything too "matchy-matchy." Also, if you can stealthy suggest a manicure, your soon-to-be fiancé will thank you for it!

I do not provide the unedited, RAW files. The RAW files are like a blank canvas. They are unfinished and not a fair representation of my work.
